CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior Jen Busby (Andover, Ma.) earned Patriot League Women’s Diver of the Week honors after garnering two first place finishes against Syracuse. Busby won both the one-meter and three-meter dives in ¾Ã¾ÃÊÓƵ’s 128-111 loss to the Orangemen.
Busby beat teammate Emily McAuliff (Springfield, Ill.) by two points in the one-meter dive with a score of 247.88 She followed that up with score of 141.90 in the three-meter dive. Busby defeated McAuliff by just 0.6 points in the three-meter event. Busby’s two victories were half of the four wins ¾Ã¾ÃÊÓƵ earned against Syracuse.
The Raiders swimming and diving teams open up Patriot League competition Saturday, October 25, when the Crusaders of Holy Cross come to Lineberry Natatorium.
