New York Times columnist George Vecsey to discuss his early work covering Appalachia

With November in full swing and พรพรสำฦตโ€™s first snowfall of the year under our belts, hereโ€™s what you can expect this week.

On Monday, George Vecsey will give a lecture in Olin Hall titled An American non-fiction author and columnist for The New York Times, Vescey moved to cover Appalachia for the newspaper and found that the region struck him. He discovered a new world of politics, history, music, and coal mining. Vesceyโ€™s lecture is part of the โ€œMoving Mountains in Appalachiaโ€ series, a that has brought many speakers to campus this fall.
